Coverage levels
The map shows predicted coverage using the standardised levels set by the Telecommunications (Mobile Network Coverage Maps) Industry Standard 2026. The map legend shows the level at each location.
- Good, Moderate and Basic
- Predicted coverage, from strongest to weakest signal. At lower levels, service may be slower or less reliable, particularly indoors.
- No coverage
- Areas where the predicted signal is below -115 dBm.
Assumptions and limitations
- The map shows predicted outdoor coverage and is a guide only. Coverage, and any particular level of service, is not guaranteed at every location shown.
- Actual experience can vary with your device, whether you are indoors or in a vehicle, terrain, buildings, weather and network demand.
- The Telstra Wholesale Mobile Network uses part of Telstra’s mobile network. It does not cover all areas of Telstra’s own retail network.
- 5G access requires a compatible device, an eligible 5G plan and availability of Telstra Wholesale 5G coverage at your location.
Network outages
Mobile outages on the Telstra Wholesale Mobile Network are published by Telstra:
- Current outages: check for active outages affecting mobile service in your area.
- Outage register: view past outages and their details.
